(CENTREVILLE) – The St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office will be handling a case in Kalamazoo County.
Prosecutor Deborah J. Davis announced Wednesday that two felony charges of Assaulting/Resisting/Obstructing a Police Officer and two misdemeanor charges of Domestic Violence First Offense have been authorized against Tami Rayshawn Rey of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Davis says the alleged offenses happened in the City of Kalamazoo on May 23, and were investigated by the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety. The case was assigned to the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office due to a conflict of interest, declared by the Kalamazoo County Prosecutor’s Office.
Davis says the matter will be scheduled for proceedings in Kalamazoo County District Court.
