(ANGOLA) – The City of Angola has announced a change in the schedule for chip and seal work.

The Angola Street Department says they were notified that the crews that were supposed to be in the city Wednesday and Thursday will not be in Angola until likely next week.

The Street Department says weather permitting, East Felicity Street at the Springhill Drive intersection will be closed Monday, July 21 from 7 AM until 5 PM for street maintenance. No through traffic will be allowed. The rain date for this project is July 22.

Street Department and City Officials say they understand that this poses an inconvenience to some residents, specifically in the Reddington Heights area. They ask that the community please be patient as they try to get this completed and the road back open in a timely manner.
