(THREE RIVERS) – One person has been arrested on multiple charges.
On Wednesday, the Southwest Enforcement Team South Office and the Three Rivers Police Department partnered on an illegal narcotics distribution arrest and seizure.
Three Rivers Police officers located an individual at the Super 8 Hotel which resulted in an arrest and seizure of a large amount of illegal narcotics and a firearm. SWET detectives assisted Three Rivers officers with the collection, processing and testing of evidence as well as additional investigation regarding the suspect.
In total, 214 grams of methamphetamine, 135 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl, 109 grams of crack cocaine, and 4.2 grams of MDMA were seized from the suspect. Additionally, the suspect was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm.
The suspect was lodged at the St. Joseph County Jail on charges related to the illegal sale and distribution of narcotics and illegal possession of a firearm. This investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be requested with the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office.
