(COLDWATER) – A traffic stop led to the arrest of a person on a drug charge.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Office says at 11:30 PM Saturday, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was traveling along West Garfield Avenue near Treat Avenue. They discovered the driver was operating without valid insurance. During the investigation, deputies discovered the driver, a 57 year old Coldwater woman, had methamphetamines both on her person and in the vehicle.
The suspect is being held in the Branch County Jail.
