(CENTREVILLE) – There’s plenty to see and do today at the St. Joseph County Grange Fair.
Today is Hometown Heroes Day at the Fair, sponsored by Shimmel Road Farms.
Events today include the 4-H horse show at 8:30 AM. There will be Bingo at the Community Stage at 9 AM. Also at 9 AM is the 4-H open class beef cattle show, followed by the 4-H dairy feeder show.
At 1 PM is the open class antique tractor parade, while at 2 PM the blanket Wheel will take place at Area 52. Also at 2 PM is the make and take crafts event at the Community Stage.
The Midway opens at 3 PM and it’s a wristband day.
The 4-H sheep show starts at 4 PM. At the Community Stage starting at 4 PM there will be a cheese making class followed at 5 PM by Anglemyer’s Tae Kwon Do demonstration.
The mini pony pulls start at 6 PM, and there will be another open class antique tractor parade as well. At 6:30 PM is the 4-H horse costume class. The sea lion splash encounter will take place at 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM in Heritage Park.
At 7 PM the farm stock tractor and semi pulls will be happening in the Grandstands. Tickets are just $12 for adults, children ages 5 to 12 is only $6 and pit passes, good for all ages, is only $20.
