(STURGIS) – Rodger Moyer attended his final meeting as a Second Precinct Sturgis City Commissioner.
The April 23 meeting was the last for Moyer as a City Commissioner. He is stepping down due to his move from the Second Precinct to the First Precinct. Moyer says he has enjoyed his time on the Commission. LINKC.
Moyer was elected to the City Commission in the November 2024 General Election, defeating incumbent Commissioner Emmanuel Nieves.
Sturgis City Clerk Ken Rhodes explains how the City will go about finding someone to fill Moyer’s position. LINKD.
Rhodes says his recommendation would be after the interviews, to appoint someone during the Commission’s second meeting in May.
