(BRONSON) – The Bronson City Council will be holding two public hearings during their next regular meeting.
At the March 13 meeting, the City Council discussed the matter of allowing recreational marijuana based businesses to operate in Bronson. City Attorney Chuck Lillis shares that Bronson has several options to choose from, and explains what a nearby community did, LINKC.
The City of Marshall, according to Lillis, allows only grow operations.
Lillis then made a recommendation for the City Council. LINKD.
Lillis also recommended having Quincy Village Manager Brittany Butler attend the meeting to share the steps Quincy went through and how it’s been working for them.
The public hearing will be held during the April 10 City Council meeting. If you can’t attend that meeting, you can drop off your public comment at City Hall by 3 PM on April 10, or e-mail them to admin@bronson-mi.com.
The Council will also hold a public hearing that night on the proposed Clean Water State Revolving Fund; Project Planning Document, the Drinking Water Revolving Fund Project Planning Document and the USDA Rural Development Project.
