KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI – An Indiana man died early Sunday morning following a fatal crash on U.S. 131 near Kalamazoo.

According to the Kalamazoo County Ssheriff’s Department, officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash just after midnight. The accident happened along U.S. 131 near mile marker 46.

Reports indicate an Audi A4, driven by a Plainwell resident, rear-ended a vehicle driven by a man from Indiana.

The driver of Audi left the scene, but was later apprehended by authorities.

Investigators say the individual from Indiana, who’s name and age have not yet been released, died on the scene.
