(STURGIS) - It looks like a second write in candidate will be a member of the Sturgis City Commission.
City Clerk Ken Rhodes says it looks like Hadassah Wickey will receive 4 votes following the canvas and be a Commissioner for Precinct 3. Only declared write ins are eligible to receive a vote.
Rhodes says the Board of Canvassers can't certify until after Monday, which is after the deadline for overseas ballots to be received.
Wickey joins Michael Anderson as the other write in candidate to win a seat on the City Commission. Anderson will represent Precinct 2.
