(INDIANAPOLIS) – Counties in Northeast Indiana saw their jobless rates drop from November to December.
According to information released by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, LaGrange County saw a drop in their jobless rate from 1.2 to .7 percent.
The biggest drop was in Noble County, which went from 1.9 to 1.1 percent from November to December.
Steuben, Elkhart and DeKalb Counties all went from 1.5 to .9 percent.
Statewide, the jobless rate dropped in Indiana from a November rate of 3 percent to 2.7 percent in December. Nationally, the unemployment rate went from 4.2 to 3.9 percent.
