(LAGRANGE) – A groundbreaking event was held this week in LaGrange for a new financial institution.
Interra Credit Union officials joined with representatives from LaGrange County to host the event where they are building their new facility at 309 South Poplar Street. Interra serves solely as the credit union provider in LaGrange County, with offices currently in Topeka and Shipshewana.
Amy Sink, CEO of Interra Credit Union stated they look forward to expanding their footprint in LaGrange and better serving their 4,300 members in the county.
Interra will be including a variety of new financial services in the county and deepening their relationship with members. The roughly 3,200 square foot full service LaGrange office will offer an innovative flex space concept, personal and technological conveniences, local agribusiness, business development and lending services, mortgage lending and appointment-based meeting with wealth management advisers.
Additionally, Interra's online banking and cash management platforms will provide expanded features and functionalities that they believe the community will appreciate. The office will include a lobby, drive-thru, night depository and an ATM.
Interra, headquartered in Goshen, was chartered in 1932 and has assets of $1.2 billion. They span 18 counties in northern Indiana, and operates 15 office including LaGrange, Elkhart, Noble, Kosciusko and Marshall Counties.
