(MARSHALL) - Pavement repairs are set to begin next week on M-66 in Sturgis.
The Michigan Department of Transportation says they and Louis Kay Contracting Company will be repairing approximately 2.6 miles of pavement on M-66 from the Indiana/Michigan State Line to U.S. 12.
There will be lane closures during the project, which will start September 14 and should be completed by October 9. The total cost of the project is $671,755.
When it's finished it will provide drivers with a safer, smoother ride and extend the life of the road.
