No. 3 Mendon tops No. 7 Hillman In D-4 Softball semifinals
(EAST LANSING) – Hillman took an early 2-0 lead, but Mendon came back with a 3 run inning and scored later in the game as the No. 3 Lady Hornets beat the No. 7 Tigers 4-2 in their Division 4 softball Semifinal game at Michigan State University. Rowan Allen got the win in the circle for Mendon, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs with 8 strikeouts. Some timely hitting and some Hillman errors allowed Mendon to score and take a lead in the game. LINKC. Mendon will take on No. 1 Unionville-Sebewaing in today’s Championship Game, in a rematch of the 2023 Division 4 Title game. USA won their semifinal game Friday, rallying to beat Saginaw Michigan Lutheran Seminary 4-1 following a 50 minute rain delay.
