(COLON) – The Colon Board of Education has selected two individuals they want to interview for the District’s vacant Superintendent position.
During a special meeting Wednesday, the Colon School Board discussed the five candidates who applied for the position of Superintendent. Each Board member offered comments on the candidates and then voted on who they would like to interview.
The Board voted to have Amanda PeGan and Dr. Richard Hilderly come in for interviews. Hilderly is the retired Superintendent with Tecumseh Public Schools, recently interviewed for the Burr Oak Schools Superintendent position, but was not asked to come back for a second round interview.
Colon School Board President Rebecca Stoll says the interviews will be June 18 in the Colon High School cafeteria, starting at 6 PM. The public is invited to attend.
