(CENTREVILLE) – There’s a new member to the St. Joseph County Central Dispatch team.
During their May 16 meeting, the St. Joseph County Commission heard from Central Dispatch Director Stacey Bower that they were getting an emotional support dog. Bower explains how the idea came about. LINKC.
Bower says the dog, named Bolo, was purchased from Magnum K-9, who has been training the dog and it’s been going well. She says the St. Joseph County United Way got donation that paid for Bolo, which was $5,000.
Bower shares that Bolo will live at the center but have other duties as well. LINKD.
Bower is finished his initial training and is now at Central Dispatch. She says Magnum K-9 will be providing more training over the next several weeks.
