(DOWAGIAC) – Two people have been arrested on drug charges.

At 5 PM on May 29, the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team, along with the Michigan Department of Corrections responded to a residence in the 300 block of Orchard Street in Dowagiac.

While searching the residence, detectives located methamphetamine, meth paraphernalia, along with evidence of meth distribution.

Two people, a 44 year old man and a 41 year old woman were arrested. The man is charged with maintaining a drug house and possession of meth. The woman was arrested for possession of meth.

The suspect’s names have not been released.

Assisting at the scene were the Dowagiac Police Department and the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
