(STEUBEN COUNTY) – No injuries were reported when a vehicle struck a school bus in Northeast Indiana.
Around 7:30 Friday morning, the Indiana State Police were dispatched to a crash involving a Prairie Heights Schools bus on U.S. 20 near County Road 620 West in Steuben County.
The investigation determined that the bus driver was heading east on U.S. 20 and the driver activated the yellow flashing lights and started slowing down. While the bus was slowing, it was struck from behind by another vehicle.
Neither of the drivers were injured, and there were no students on the bus. Troopers say the rising sun was a factor in the incident.
