(CALVIN TOWNSHIP) – A suspect is in custody after drugs were found at a Southern Michigan home.
Cass County Sheriff Clint Roach says on Tuesday, deputies executed a search warrant in the 18,000 block of Brownsville Road. While searching the house and grounds, deputies located stolen property, methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, and a firearm.
A 35 year old man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, felony firearm, felon in possession of a firearm, and receiving and concealing stolen property. The man’s name is being withheld pending arraignment on the charges in Cass County District Court. The investigation is continuing.
Assisting at the scene were the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team, and K-9 Officer Sitka and their handler.
