(BRONSON) – The No. 3 Mendon softball team went 1-1 at the Bronson Polish Classic. The Lady Hornets beat Colon 15-0 and then lost to host Bronson 13-6. In game one, Ally Butler was the winning pitcher, going 4 innings and giving up 5 hits with 7 strikeouts. Rowan Allen took the loss in game two, going 6 innings and giving up 9 hits with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts. At the plate Cienna Nightingale and Rowan Allen each had 4 RBI on the day while Kaidee Gonser had 3 RBI. Mendon is now 22-2 on the season.
