(MENDON) - Up at halftime the Sturgis girls basketball team struggled in the final two quarters offensively, but were able to beat host Mendon 46-40 in the championship game of the Mendon Holiday Tournament. Angela Cary led the Lady Trojans with 16 points. Addison Eicher had 8 points and Mya Eicher added 7 points. For Mendon Gracie Schultz had 16 points. Cienna Nightingale added 8 points and Rowan Allen had 7 points. Cary was named the Tournament MVP. Sturgis improves to 5-1.
