(LAGRANGE) - Funds have been received to do upgrades to a park.
The LaGrange County Parks and Recreation Department says they have been awarded a $20,000 grant from the Olive B. Cole Foundation Inc.
The money will be used for enhancements at Dallas Lake Park, specifically doing vital improvements to the playground facilities.
The grant will be spent on expanding the playground area along with updating existing equipment, which includes adding swings.
The plan also calls for the addition of two pickleball courts, which will be based on getting additional funding.
