(COLDWATER) - Multiple arrests were made over the weekend as part of an ongoing drug investigation in Coldwater.
Branch County Sheriff Fred Blankenship says in the early morning hours of December 13, his office along with the Coldwater Police Department executed the search warrants. The searches were conducted in the 400 block of East Chicago Road, the 100 block of West Chicago Road and the 100 block of Smith Street.
All three searches led to significant evidence being found, including suspected cocaine, meth, along with items consistent with drug distribution and a firearm.
Blankenship says several individuals were taken into custody and additional charges are being sought related to the evidence that was found.
The matter is still under investigation.
