(LAGRANGE) - A long time part of the Corn School Festival was back Wednesday night.
The 2026 Miss Corn School Queen Contest was held with seven young ladies trying to become the new Queen. They each did an interview with the three judges, along with participating in the evening gown and question and answer portions of the contest. They also did a talent display for the audience at the LaGrange County Courthouse Gazebo.
After all of the points were tallied, Taylor Sutton, a senior at Lakeland High School was named the 2026 Miss Corn School Queen. Sutton spoke with Swick Broadcasting and shared what was going through her mind following the announcement that she had won. Taylor thanked her mother for encouraging her to participate. She also thanks all of the girls who were in this year's contest and said they all had good hearts.
Josie Eash was selected the First Runner0up and Addison Taylor was named Miss Congeniality.
