(MENDON) - Mendon won their home opener as the Hornets beat visiting Morenci 58-6 in 8 Man football. Logan Stuart led the ground game with 4 carries for 110 yards and 2 touchdowns. Xavior Zinsmaster had 8 carries for 83 yards and 3 TD's while Zak Iobe had 3 carries for 91 yards and a touchdown. Iobe also led the defense with 13 tackles. Bryce Zagon had 7 tackles as Mendon improves to 2-0.
