(VOLINIA TOWNSHIP) - Authorities are investigating a badly decomposed body found in a Volinia Township field.
Cass County Sheriff Clint Roach says detectives and deputies were called to the area of McKenzie Street and Churchill Street just before 2 PM Thursday and met with a landowner, who found a badly decomposed body in a field. The Michigan State Police Mobile Crime Lab responded to the scene along with Detectives from the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office.
The case remains under investigation. If anyone has information, they are asked to call the Cass County Sheriff's Office at 269-445-1560.
