(LAGRANGE) - A woman and an infant were injured when the buggy they were in was struck by a pickup.
The LaGrange County Sheriff's Office says that 77-year-old Meredith Brown of Wolcottville was traveling south on State Road 9 south of County Road 300 South. Brown says he did not see the horse and buggy traveling south and struck the buggy.
The driver of the buggy, 25-year-old Velda Miller says she and one of the children, 5-month-old Krista Miller, were ejected from the buggy. Another passenger, 2-year-old Kaden Miller, remained in the buggy.
Velda Miller complained of back pain. Krista Miller had a head injury, and Kaden Miller said his whole body hurt. They were all taken to Parkview Regional Hospital. None of them were wearing seatbelts.
Brown was not injured and was wearing his seatbelt.
