(STURGIS) - It's going to be a busy summer for Sturgis Public Schools.
Several projects are being done to the building and grounds around the District, including parking lot work at Eastwood School.
Sturgis Superintendent Dr. Art Ebert says the biggest change will be on the west side of Eastwood off of South Myrtle Street where a new traffic loop has been put in and a new parking area with 110 parking spaces. In addition the entire parking lot and bus loop in front of the buildings is getting re-milled and re-paved along with some minor changes. (LISTEN ABOVE).
Ebert says the parking lot behind the press box at the Sturgis High School football field is getting reconfigured with different parking and lane structures. He says there will also be a small loop for student drop off and pick up.
