(GOBLES) - Mendon's girls and boys track teams were at their Division 4 Regional at Gobles, with the Lady Hornets finishing sixth and the boys ninth. In the girls events, the 400 meter relay team of McKenzie Bakeman, Brooklyn Marshall, Gracie Schultz and Taylor Zinsmaster finished third and move on to the State Finals. The 800 meter relay team of Bakeman, Marshall, Zinsmaster and Laney Buchanan were fourth and also move to the State Finals. For the boys the 400 meter relay team of Owen Gorham, Ryder Gorham, James Lux and Xavior Zinsmaster came in fourth and will advance to the State Finals. The 1600 meter relay team of Gorham, Gorham, Zinsmaster and Kyron Christner finished third and will move on to the State Finals. They also made up the 3200 meter relay team and finished second, advancing to the State Meet.
