Bronson softball goes 2-1 at Northview Invitational

(GRAND RAPIDS) - The Bronson softball team was in action on Saturday and went 2-1 at the Northview Invitational. The Lady Vikings beat host Northview 4-1, then Grand Rapids Christian 12-1 and then lost to Grand Rapids Unity Christian 6-0. Coach Becky Gray says it was a good day for her squad who played some very good teams and learned that their intensity must be high to compete with those teams. Madison Shaw got the pitching win against Northview and took the loss against Unity Christian. On the day she gave up 9 hits and struck out 18. Ashlynn Harris was the winner against G.R. Christian, going 3 innings with 1 hit and 5 strikeouts. At the plate Roni Bir had 4 RBI for the Lady Vikings. Kalyeah Shiery had 2 RBI as Bronson improves to 14-5.
