(COLDWATER) - Two people have put their names on the ballot to seek the position of Branch County Prosecutor.
The Branch County Clerk's Office says that former Prosecutor and current County Public Defender Terri Norris along with her top Assistant Public Defender John Vincent are on the ballot for the August Republican Primary.
This special election is being held because Zach Stempien stepped down as Prosecutor after being appointed Branch County's 15th Circuit Court Judge.
There are two years left on the term for County Prosecutor.
