(COLDWATER) - The Three Rivers softball team traveled to Coldwater and dropped a pair of non conference games to the host Lady Cardinals 6-1 and 5-4. Three Rivers had been up 4-0 in the second game before losing to Coldwater. For Three Rivers, London Hoffmaster had 4 hits including a home run and 3 RBI. Dani Glass had 3 hits. Coldwater's Laynie VanAken was the winning pitcher in game one for Coldwater with 19 strikeouts and giving up 2 hits and 1 run. At the plate on the day, VanAken had a 3 run homer and a 2 run homer among her hits. Three Rivers is now 9-4 on the season while Coldwater is 11-0.
