(BRONSON TOWNSHIP) - A drug investigation that lasted several months led to the arrest of two people and the recovery of narcotics.
Branch County Sheriff Fred Blankenship says on Friday his office executed a search warrant at a residence in the 900 block of Weaver Road in Bronson Township. Deputies recovered more that 320 grams of crystal meth along with items commonly associated with drug distribution. Psilocybin mushrooms were also located at the residence.
A 52 year old Bronson man ad a 32 year old Three Rivers woman were arrested on multiple felony narcotics charges and taken to the Branch County Jail.
Assisting deputies were the Michigan State Police K9 Unit, the Michigan State Police SWET Team, the St. Joseph Valley Response Team, and the Coldwater Police K-9 Unit.
