(COLDWATER) - The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency is kicking off their 2026 Lock It Up Campaign.

The campaign is partnering with local community agencies to distribute safe storage locking bags to all three counties.

Residents can request a safe storage locking bag by visiting any CHA office along with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services offices in all three counties.

In St. Joseph County, you can also get bags at the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office; Pivotal at all locations; the Three Rivers Police Department; Covered Bridge Healthcare and Daly Dope in Three Rivers.

Branch County residents can get the bags at the Branch County Sheriff's Office; Pines Behavioral Health; the Branch ISD Office on Lincoln Street in Coldwater along with The Tree House, Green Tree Relief and Mint Cannabis, all in Coldwater.

For Hillsdale County residents, the bags are available at the Hillsdale County Sheriff's Office; LifeWays; the Hillsdale County ISD; Stoned Goat in Osseo; Green Tree Relief in Reading and The Nest Provisioning Center in Camden.

CHA Health Officer Rebecca Burns says they have once again received grant funding from Marijuana Operation and Oversight Grant to support the Lock It Up Campaign. The money is provided based on medical marijuana cards issued in each county.
