The Constantine Township Library has another busy month planned for local kids and adults!
October Program: Scams Targeting Seniors
Thursday, October 22nd - 6 p.m.
The Library welcomes local banker Veronica Featherstone, the Constantine Branch Manager of Southern Michigan Bank & Trust, who will walk the group through the most common fraud schemes currently affecting older adults. While the program is designed with seniors in mind, the information is valuable for ALL adults. Scam attempts continue to rise each year, and people of every age are targeted through phone calls, emails, texts, and social media. During this hour-long session, Featherstone will explain why seniors are often singled out, highlight key red flags to watch for, and outline practical steps to take when you encounter a scammer. The evening will conclude with a question-and-answer period.
