(B.C. CENTRAL) - The Coldwater girls basketball team started slow but got into the groove as they beat Kalamazoo Loy Norrix 61-36 in their Division 1 District Quarterfinal game. Mya Porter led the Lady Cardinals and all scorers with 19 points to go along with 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Rylie VanAken had 12 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in the win while Coley Burkhardt had 10 points and 14 rebounds. Kalamazoo Loy Norrix finishes the season at 5-17. Coldwater is now 16-7 and will take on Gull Lake in a semifinal game Wednesday.
