(MENDON) - Third time was the charm for the Colon boys basketball team after falling to Mendon twice before, the Magi beat the host Hornets 54-47 to win a Division 4 District title. It's the fifth District Title for Colon in the last 6 years. Dalton Williams led the Magi and all scorers with a game high 28 points. Quincy Blair had 12 points while Jeremiah West had 6 points. Colin Trattles had 5 points, including a big 3-pointer late in the game. (LISTEN ABOVE). Ryder Gorham had 22 points for the Hornets. Owen Gorham added 9 points. Mendon ends the season at 21-1. Colon improves to 20-4 and will take on New Buffalo in a Regional semifinal game on Tuesday. New Buffalo beat Eau Claire 69-63 to in their District Championship.
