(JACKSON) - Colon went on the road and beat Jackson Christian 33-28 in girls basketball. Coach Beth Preston says this was probable the best defense her team has played all year and the girls gutted out the win. Lily Preston led the Lady Magi with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals. Raegan Thaxton had 12 points while Braelyn Thaxton had 3 points. Colon improves to 8-12.
