(STURGIS) - The Sturgis boys basketball team came out firing on all cylinders, but slowed under Burr Oak's defensive pressure, before finding their scoring touch and beating the Bobcats 49-45 in a non-conference contest. Gavin Lewis led the Trojans with 14 points. Lukis Bir had 9 points and Carter Oswald added 7 points. Owen Frost had 6 points including a big bucket late in the game to give the Trojans the lead. (LISTEN ABOVE). Coen Miller had a game high 18 points to lead the Bobcats. Braxton Boyles added 14 points and 14 rebounds. With the win, Sturgis snaps a four game losing streak and improves to 9-12. Burr Oak is 13-8.
