(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana families can now sign up for the Indiana Learns program, which offers $1,000 tutoring grants to qualifying students who need extra support in English/language arts and math. The grants are available to students who live in Indiana, receive free or reduced-price lunch, and scored below proficiency on the ILEARN exam. The initiative is designed to help those students strengthen academic skills and work toward grade-level expectations.
Enrollment is open through Friday, Dec. 19. Families can review eligibility requirements and apply at IndianaLearns.org. State education leaders say the effort is part of a larger push to expand personalized learning and ensure students have access to the tutoring they need to succeed and build confidence in core subjects.
