White Pigeon drops playoff game to Saugatuck 24-22
(WHITE PIGEON) – Down early, host White Pigeon fought back, but fell to Saugatuck 24-22 in their Division 8 Region 3 District 1 semifinal game. The Chiefs were held to 272 yards of total offense on the night, but still outgained Saugatuck 272-247. Taylor Stewart had 22 carries for 118 yards and 2TD’s for White Pigeon. Josh Davidson was 4 of 7 for 109 yards and a touchdown. Jordan Pisco had the touchdown grab and 52 yards receiving. Chaz Underwood had 6.5 tackles for the Chiefs defense while Jared Luna had 6 stops. White Pigeon ends the year at 8-2 while Saugatuck improves to 7-3 and will take on No. 9 Decatur in a District Championship game. Decatur beat Centreville 34-6.
