(NEW HAVEN) – Area runners are moving on to the IHSAA State Cross Country Finals after a strong showing at the New Haven Regional. In the girls race, Prairie Heights finished ninth. Moving on as individuals are Ashlynn Myers of Prairie Heights who was 15tha (18:57), and Chole Gibson of East Noble who came in seventh (18:44). In the boys race, Angola finished eighth. Moving on as individuals to the State Finals are Memphis Martin of Lakeland who finished fifth (16:13); Angola’s Cooper Enyeart who was 13th (16;16) along with teammate’s Kaden Klink who was 19th (16:22) and Gavin Cooke who finished 24th (16:33).
