(EAST LANSING) – The Michigan High School Athletic Association has announced the teams that have made the 2024 playoffs, and several area squads are moving on to the post season. In 8 Man Division 1 Region 4, Mendon will take on host Climax-Scotts Friday at 7 PM in a rematch of a Week 8 regular season match up that saw the Panthers beat the Hornets 46-44. The other game in that region has two time defending champion Martin taking on host Gobles.
In 8 Man Division 2, Region 4, Burr Oak will travel to Pittsford for a Friday rematch of a Week 2 regular season game. In that game Pittsford beat Burr Oak 48-20.
In Division 8, Region 3 District 1, Centreville will play at Decatur, Friday at 7 PM, while White Pigeon will host Saugatuck Friday at 7 PM.
In Division 7, Region 3 District 1, Coloma will travel to Lawton for an opening round game, while Bronson will play at Schoolcraft Friday night. In Division 7, Region 3 District 2, Napoleon will play at Hudson, while Union City will travel to Hanover Horton.
In Division 6, Region 3 District 1, Constantine will play at Parchment Friday in a rematch of a Week 7 contest that saw Parchment beat Constantine 51-30. The other game in the District has Buchanan playing at Olivet.
In Division 5, Region 2 District 2, South Haven will play at Kalamazoo United and Dowagiac will travel to Berrien Springs.
In Division 4, Region 2 District 1, Edwardsburg will take on host Harper Creek and in a rematch of the regular season finale, Paw Paw will play at Niles.
