(OLIVET) – Former Sturgis golfer Rachel Webb and members of the Olivet College women's golf team have received a special recognition. Webb, along with Nicole Deweyert, Taylor Elley, Crystal Lettinga, Logan McLane and Erin Taylor were all named to the 2018-19 Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team status. The criteria for selection are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The student-athlete must have a 3.50 or higher cumulative grade point average (GPA) and she must have also competed in 66 percent of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds. Webb, McLane and Taylor recently completed their first season of collegiate golf.
