(LAGRANGE) – A single vehicle crash east of LaGrange led to a drug charge against the driver Wednesday evening.

Deputies responded to the area of 500 East and 100 South where they found a Chevy Equinox had left the right side of the road and became airborne after hitting a dirt mound. The vehicle came to a stop in a field.

The driver. 46 year old Jill Pieratt of LaGrange, was taken to Parkview LaGrange Hospital to be checked out. She was later booked at the LaGrange County Jail on a charge of operating while intoxicated by drugs.
