(DEKALB COUNTY) – The driver of a motorcycle was injured in a one vehicle accident.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office was called to the intersection of State Road 205 and State Road 3 at 2:30 PM Friday for a personal injury accident. Deputies arrived and found 52 year old Jason Miller of Fort Wayne and his motorcycle in the middle of the ditch.
Miller says that the rear tire of his motorcycle kicked loose and lost traction as he was traveling south on State Road 3. He says he went off the road and rolled around an unknown amount of time.
Miller was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He complained of pain and had cuts and abrasions and was taken to an area hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Witnesses say Miller flipped multiple times and it appeared he lost control of his motorcycle.
Assisting at the scene were the LaOtto Fire Department and Parkview EMS.
