(COLDWATER TOWNSHIP) – A man is facing multiple charges in Branch and Calhoun Counties.
Michigan State Police were contacted regarding a reckless driving complaint on North Union City Road in Coldwater Township. Troopers were able to locate the vehicle and through their investigation, linked the driver to a hit and run in Sherwood Township; a reckless driving complaint and road rage in Athens Township; and an assault in the Village of Athens.
Troopers, along with Deputies from the Branch County and Calhoun County Sheriff’s Offices and Tribal Officers collaborated their investigations. The driver was arrested and is facing several driving offenses, including operating while intoxicated.
The matter is still under investigation.
