(BRONSON) – Bronson Community Schools has issued a release regarding a former employee.
Superintendent Kate Wall says the Bronson Schools has been made aware of criminal charges filed against a former District employee concerning conduct off duty while still employed by the District. Wall says they consulted with their legal team and actively cooperated with law enforcement about the matter.
Wall says the District immediately placed the employee on leave, but they resigned after Bronson Schools initiated their own investigation into the allegations.
Wall says Bronson Community Schools remains committed to its responsibilities to safeguard, nurture and develop their students. She says the District has policies and procedures in place to investigate and handle any allegations of misconduct. Wall says they appreciate the trust and confidence that families have placed in Bronson Community Schools and they will continue to maintain that trust.
Wall says if you ever witness a Bronson Community Schools employee unprofessionally communicate or interact with a student, they encourage you to immediately report the matter to District administration and appropriate law enforcement authorities.
