(WAYNE TOWNSHIP) – One person was injured in a car v bicycle crash.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was called out at 2:46 PM Thursday to an incident between a car and a bicycle in Wayne Township. Deputies determined that 32 year Michael Brown was riding his bicycle north on Rudy Road when he was struck by an automobile driven by 84 year old Harvey Anson of Dowagiac.
Brown was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to Lakeland Niles Hospital.
Assisting at the scene were the Dowagiac Police and Fire Departments and the SMCAS Ambulance Service.
