(DOWAGIAC) – Two people were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop.
The Dowagiac Police Department and the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team made a traffic stop in the 100 block of Halstead Street. K-9 Officer Cash alerted to the scent of drugs on the driver and passenger side doors. Officers and Detectives searched the vehicle and found methamphetamine.
The 63 year old driver and the 40 year old passenger were both arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine. Their names have not yet been released.
