(CASS COUNTY) – Steps are being taken to make one of the most dangerous intersections in Cass County a little more safe.

The Cass County Road Commission says starting today, the intersection of Pokagon Highway and Dailey Road will switch from a two way to a four way stop. They say that numerous crashes at the intersection over the years is the main reason for this change. Officials also did research into the crashes and the intersection and gathered community input on what should be done.

There will be lighted signs near the intersection to make drivers are aware of the change.

The Road Commission also asks that drivers stay alert when approaching the intersection during this time of transition.
